5 day warning

Post by JCOX4 » Sun May 31, 2020 10:14 am

So Ive just logged into my portal (just for a nose) and see the following message on the comms sent section:
"5 day warning (you now have 5 days left or your application will withdrawn) We have tried to call you this evening regarding your prison officer application. We are looking to arrange you a start date. Please email u to get you booked in on call. Our availability is from 4 – 10, Monday – Friday. Prisonofficerrecruitment@gov.sscl.com Kind Regards Prison Officer Recruitment Team"

This was allegedly sent Friday evening via txt. I have not received this txt nor have I missed any call from the recruitment team. Luckily I logged in and see this.
Anyone else had this or similar?

Maybe the message was sent in error? It looks like you have a start date, have you got a contract and start date confirmed?
Just ring then tomorrow to double check. If I was given a star date it would be unlikely I would check the portal!
Got to be a mistake.

I’ve had contradicting emails from the recruitment team even though my start was all arranged. For peace of mind, maybe give them a call to check 👍🏻

No mate, I had a start date for July but had to withdraw from that and ask for a later one due to my wife losing her job from covid19. Have emailed and asked for a call back.

Yeh I spoke to them last night, I have been told to ignore any emails or updates that come through as its an automatic system, they have put comments and notes on my file so when a human looks they will see to also ignore it. If that makes any sense lol
