Finally got my appeal letter sent off today, was held up waiting for character statements to arrive from ex colleagues. Should arrive with A & C Team on Monday & I await their response 🤞

The thing I find funny about the whole vetting system is the inconsistencies through private & public sector. I currently work for a private sector company at an Immigration Removal Center(IRC) & am looking at going for a job in Prisoner Escort(PECS) for the same private security company. I’ve passed the vetting & clearance do these, yet not for public sector. I know that an IRC is not a prison but I have been told by the company I work for that I would be able to work in one of their prisons if I wanted to as I would pass the clearance for it. Unfortunately the prisons are too far away from me & not practical for a daily commute.
