Site Rules, please read !

Post by Bearguy » Thu Mar 05, 2020 10:00 am

Good morning all,

Just a little heads up for everyone to familiarise yourself with the site rules, there is a link on the home page, you can’t miss it.

Please pay particular attention to quoting a post rules, it’s unnecessary to quote the whole post and especially if yours follows on from that user’s post. If you are engaging with someone, you don’t always have to quote them in order to get their attention.

This forum is becoming a hive of activity and with lots of information available, let’s all try and keep on the right side of the rules to enable this forum to continue to thrive.

Thanks people.

Morning all

Having been away for a bit I hadn’t noticed the slackness around the rules that had crept it and Falkor has had a chat with both Bearguy and Myself.

With the forum getting busier and busier we need everyone to stick to the rules and just take a second thought before posting and make sure you’re sticking to them

Some of these rules are here to keep the forum tidy and running well such as not over using the quote feature but others are there to keep you guys safe, such as keeping your personals safe!!

Keep enjoying the forum guys but stick to the rules!!

If people can't stick to some simple rules on here, dread to think what they like in work

Morning everyone!

Just a little reminder to keep within the rules on here again! You'll find a link to the rules at the top of your page and also within this post!

Biggest points to note on here within the rules are:
  • Keep your personals safe, avoid using your real name, keep details of where you'll be working/training on the low down or in restricted forums
  • Try and avoid using quote too often, there are times where you'll want to refer to someones post but try not to duplicate the whole thread!
  • Don't be afraid to start a new topic if you have a question but have a go at using the search feature first, there are countless posts on vetting/timescales etc that have the same answers time and time again
  • Lastly, enjoy the forum and share anything you want to, there is a good supportive bunch on here now and people are all getting along well

Just another nudge to any new users to this forum, please take 2
Minutes to read the rules, especially important about abusing the use of quotation relating to others posts, keep the conversation flowing, it is unnecessary, as some of the more seasoned members are noticing.
