In some YOI they do get gifts,socks or little stocking filler type things. Staff will usually get a longer dinner there will be a little fewer staff on over the whole day because bang up is usually earlier. You will tend to find its harder to bang up the more difficult cons near the end of your day over the festive period.

Mine will be spent on the Labour ward now with the wife awaiting my boys arrival :slcl:

I've been like that this last week, I work at the hospital and have been here more with her this month than I would have if I was working. :(

My first I was like something out of the exorcist.... embarrassing thinking about it but at 21 I was quite young.

My second I actually enjoyed it! Didn’t make a peep and had no pain relief except from the birthing pool!

I'm off to work after calling my wife and daughter who are away with her family. Working today and tomorrow so didn't see the point in them being home. Full shift today then back home to a microwave dinner and crap TV.

Anyone else working today have as much of a great Christmas as you can and most of all be safe.
