Prison Sports Teams?

Post by Fl4shflood » Thu Jul 13, 2017 3:10 pm

Do prisons have their own sports teams, e.g football or rugby? Would be pretty great to get together with collegues and play other establishments!

My establishment have stated to bring my gym kit on certain days for a kick about but not 100% on whether they have a inter league could be interesting though.

Even if it's just within your own workplace, at the very least it will be a good laugh and help build relationships with you colleagues. Would be pretty cool if they started a league of sorts between prisons.

Having taken part in four World Police and Fire Games (Quebec 2005, Adelaide 2007, Vancouver 2009 & New York 2011) i can safely say they are a good crack. Its the second highest sporting event in term or participants just behind the Olympics.

Join the PSSA. Lots of different sports to do for the prison service. I run the prison service triathlon club if you know any triathletes out there.
