Lockdown Workouts

Post by Bearguy » Thu May 07, 2020 9:33 am

Morning all,

So, quiet as the grave on here, understandably !

With all gyms closed, and a story in the news today that they may not open again until the autumn at least, how are people keeping their fitness up during this pandemic ? If at all !!!

Any routines anyone doing in the home/garden ? Are you following any celebrity/fitness personality workout regimes ?

Fortunately I have some weight training equipment, basic stuff, in my garage, doing my bit, however the cross trainer I have does have a few cobwebs on it !

I recently watched a documentary on Netflix, called westside barbell versus the world, which gave me something to go on.

I like Shawn T's workouts. He's the guy behind Insanity and they do the job. Doing a bit of T-25 and Insanity Max 30 atm.... although I've had a week or so off 😁

Anything that is going to get me out of breath and soaked in sweat is a good thing, although climbing the stairs and doing my shoe laces is doing that right now !

I have been taking my disabled son out every other day in his wheelchair for about an hour, he is 20 stone and takes some pushing when there is an incline !! He thinks it’s bloody hilarious !!
