Thanks londonlad hopefully onto the final stretch now aslong as I pass the checks. I read elsewhere in this group north east establishments were hard to get so that’s another bonus I’ve waited 7 month for this surely few more wont harm me 😂

TMH90, sorry I know I asked you before, but did you leave in probation too? I know Gaboo recently rejoined too.

I’ll hang in there Taff, but it isn’t half a pain the backside. It’s crazy that people have to endure this 12 month period of zero clarity and run the possibility of not getting an offer. Yeah LondonLad, that’s me :slby:

I know mate that was for my 1st choice prison, 2nd choice rung me with 3 weeks to go and I couldn't risk saying no.

That’s mental,Taff. Must have took you by surprise being so close the cut off then getting an offer. Praying I don’t have to wait that long but if I have to and do get something late on then who cares ha.

TMH90, did you leave in probation too? Are you applying for the same establishment? Apologies mate, I remember you re applying, couldn’t remember when you left last time.
I’m just assuming my vetting is complete as it says on my portal about being contacted shortly about the next stage. I was on the referred for a decision stage for bloody ages !! Who knows !!

Yes mate I left during probation. I initially applied for my old prison then had my arc results mirrored onto a few other jails in the area to try n better my chances. That’s the message I got when I passed vetting last time round so I’d say you’re right mate, well done 👍🏻

Yes, LondonLad. Was around 7 months from rad to offer last time round- been almost 8 months wait up to now. Just hope I get something and don’t have to go through it all again 🙈

Just keep persevering mate...Covid had delayed everything sadly. Be worth it in the end!
