Disclosure of information to Journalists

It has come to my attention that a journalist from a website Kentonline may or may not have contacted our members directly.

No matter if you are working in a private jail or a state run 1, if you are caught giving out information to the press you run the very real prospect of losing your job - my advice is to decline.

Even if they offer you do so as a anonymous source, is it worth the risk?

If anyone from the media asks you directly - do not say anything other that "You need to speak to the press office for the prison service"
Never, EVER state "No comment"
