Recruitment This Year?

Ok guys so I’ve been on this site on and off for a long time, in fact I went through the recruitment process and Poelt almost a decade ago.
I’ve written a post on why I left before, admittedly this was also a long time ago.
So I’ve decided to give it another go, especially talking to a work colleague who has recently left the prison Service after 20 years. Unfortunately, whilst trying to complete the new online tests, my laptop froze and I didn’t answer all the questions, resulting in failing the first tests. The recruiting people said unfortunately you now have to wait 6 months before you can re apply again! Had issues with my internet connection.
So obviously the Prison service has been heavily recruiting over the last two years or so, do you all think that recruiting will continue or slow down? Will vacancies still exist?
Almost 39, getting older now so want to be in a position where I have enough time to make a career of it.

I'm sure I've read similar before and it was suggested to register with a different email if you didn't want to wait the full 6 months.

I think there will always be a conveyor belt of vacancies throughout the year mate.

If you are in the prison/emergency services, a hairdresser, a kebab shop owner or a funeral director....there will always be a need for you !!

Don’t fancy taking up hairdressing like :slre:
