MINISTERS condemned a nationwide strike by prison officers yesterday. Thousands of guards protested over safety, with many saying they had been attacked by gangs of inmates.

Wasn't a strike as that would have been illegal, we retreated to a place of safety and protested about the conditions that we are forced to work in.

We didnt go out at my jail, ok POA didn't get the message then by the time it was received there was an incident and we couldn't leave.
