Evening all

Thankyou for allowing me to be part of this forum. It has been very useful during my application process for the service.

I have currently hit a problem that I could do with some advice on.

I have recently passed my vetting and received an email inviting me to arrange a date and time for my Start Date Phonecall. So when I go into my portal, it tells me there is no available slots.

I have emailed recruitment about this and sent my pre phonecall questions back aswell.

Has anyone had this issue before? And will it effect my application as it states that if I don't make an appointment within 5 days it will withdraw my application.

I would advise you to call SSCL at the earliest opportunity and explain this dilemma to them so they can help you resolve it ASAP. Good luck!

I got it sorted! :slbg: I am booked in for my phonecall tomorrow afternoon!

I am so excited now to get started! After such a long process, the realisation that it's actually happening now is kicking in haha.

Gaz how long after your portal changed to we will be i. Touch about the next stage did you get the email to book your call?

It was 2 weeks from my portal changing to booking my phone call.

The call was very quick aswell. Once it's done, keep an eye on your emails. You get a few come through pretty quickly.

How long have people been waiting for their vetting to come clear ?
I've been waiting 2 weeks so far but I've heard it can take up to 12 weeks

Missnoname I've waited 12 weeks now my portal has changed to we will be in contact shortly.

I’ve waiting 6 week 4 days now I have the status change to we shall be in contact with you shortly for

It took around 6 weeks for my vetting to finish. Then 2 weeks for the call to come and 3 weeks until my start date 😁

My vetting took around 4 weeks, then a week until I got the call then 6 weeks until my start date

Does anyone know how to contact priority recruitment I had 2 missed calls Friday and portal changed to please contact us urgent to discuss start date all Friday night I was ringing this number rang this morning was told to call this evening at 4pm rang and still no answer sent email and left voicemail
