Vetting update ?

Passed my Fitness test on 3/3/2021, vetting has now changed from ‘your application is currently going through pre-employment checks, and has been referred for a decision’ to ‘we shall be in contact shortly to let you know the next stage of the recruitment process’ ...

Does this mean I have passed/failed the vetting or does it just do this? I have a family member who has served a custodial sentence and although I declared it on forms I’m scared to get excited?

From what I believe it’s just when they receive a document like a reference from an employer or counter signatory.

Whenever it gave me that status which it will a few times probably it aligned with when my references submitted.
