Haha it’s the cakes, biscuits and chocolates fault mate !!

Hopefully I can have a couple of weeks to get up to scratch before the tests

I kept things quiet this time mate, passed the ARC on 1st of February, was quietly confident about it all, didn’t think it would come so quick

That is the best way mate, also less pressure when it’s only you who knows..
You are flying through, especially considering you are up north where recruitment seems to move a bit slower. Maybe you impressed them too much with your ARC lol..
You will have to let me know if your vetting is any easier being as you have already passed once, as in the back of my mind that still gets me slightly anxious knowing that mine failed once and the procedures I went through..
Over the moon for you though bud. Is it with HMP or SPS?

It’s with HMP mate, things with the SPS have been much slower, there is no virtual ARC like HMP has, been still waiting for an interview and assessment date for a residential application I put in ages ago.

Just received my call I start at my establishment on the 12th of April then on to an off site training facility in Telford Shropshire two weeks later, would be good to know if anyone will be on the same course, so relieved something is now set in stone.

My first post and a little update for those seeking a ‘timeline’.
I had my in person ARC December 8/2020.
Provisional offer on the 06/01/2021
I submitted my vetting on 09/01/2021. Had booked my start date call for 18/02- was given start date of 22/03 in West Midlands.
Then called again as the 22/03 was actually unavailable (fully booked, mistake on their part) so been rebooked at another establishment for 12/04/2021.
Pretty quick considering COVID circumstances so I consider myself very lucky.
