Got my call!

After checking my portal for probably the hundredth time today my status has changed from You are currently undergoing pre employment checks to We will be in contact shortly to let you know the next stage of the recruitment process
Does this mean I’ve passed vetting? It’s literally only been four weeks today since I sent my forms off so much quicker than I thought

I’ve applied for an establishment in Wales

So I never randomly received a call. I got a text and email asking me to book a call time on my portal.

My call is 9pm this evening, I can’t wait!

So trying not to stress yourself out by waiting for a call when they might be doing it this way now

I got my call just over a week ago. I can't get on a training course until 10th May because of leave I have booked for my brothers wedding.
However I'm allowed to start on the 15th March as an OSG on Officers pay to get me at the prison sooner.
4 weeks left in my current job as an instructor in a different prison, I can't wait to start as an officer.

Haha it’s the cakes, biscuits and chocolates fault mate !!

Hopefully I can have a couple of weeks to get up to scratch before the tests

I kept things quiet this time mate, passed the ARC on 1st of February, was quietly confident about it all, didn’t think it would come so quick
