Just to clarify it’s definitely not only prison based training. It’s classroom based too!

Think the poster means they will be completing POELT training course at home prison, They are running the courses at various prisons locally to clear the back log. The training is same as if you were to go to Newbold Revel. Some locals have great facilities, Hindley has an old wing they use so you have actual cells unlike the single door at some other jail's.

Just to confirm to everyone, that no matter where you train, it’s the same syllabus. Everyone in POELT training does the same course, to the national standard.
It doesn’t matter if you train at Newbold or a prison.
