I don’t have mine as I didn’t study in England, so I’ll probably have to do it. Unless they will test my maths and English skills and decide i don’t need it. I am also doing a degree in psychology with open university but don’t know if that will count. Let us know how it is when you start. You should start a diary as well :slre:

So if your have your maths and English what would be the pattern of training on the apprenticeship level? Asking for when hopefully my vetting is successful haha!

Hi everyone, I'm a first timer here. Been following the conversations and decided to join in. Firstly, well done all for all the progress you've made :slcl:
Anyone looking to work down south, been waiting for a date to start since December, have found out that I will be on the apprenticeship scheme but no courses as of yet.

I think is 4 weeks at the prison, 7.5 weeks at the training centre, then back to the prison. Then a couple of weeks at the training centre a few months later and another week after another few months. Or something like that :)

Congratulations to everyone who got their start dates. Has anyone on here applied to Thorne Cross, it's been nearly 6 weeks and I was just wondering if anyone had heard anything on their application. I'll just keep my fingers crossed.

To be fair, status changed this morning, and now had the call .. Start date of April provided, enrolled onto Apprenticeship.
