Thank you! Did vetting actually contact your employers? Just thinking I might need to give my boss a heads up now! But find it a bit awkward!

Congratulations Jafe!!! Which prison is it? And they did asked a reference during my vetting, but maybe because I’m self employed.

My referees were not contacted either, I said previously that they may be contacted if your working history does not add up with HMRC.

This will take a lot longer. I have 4 weeks before starting the training at Newbold Revel. 2 at the prison and 2 somewhere else (don’t know yet where). Them I have to come back at Newbold in December probably for a week or 2, then another week at Newbold around April next year. I am really happy that I have a date and can’t wait for the summer :slbg:

I congrats Evie, a weight off your mind. I also start on the apprenticeship on March 2nd. If you have your exam results to show you have a c or above in maths and English you won’t have to go to Newbold for weeks 3 & 4 and just done straight 4 weeks at your establishment before goi g off to training. Good luck...... I don’t have mine as way to many years ago! 🙈
