So I got a conditional offer yesterday after only 10 days on merit. Currently just filling my vetting form out and I'm so worried. I have an IVA and have been paying towards this for 2 years now. Also I have an uncle that was in prison years ago but I don't have contact with him. I'm worried that this could all this go against me? Ps I will be disclosing everything on the forms and been honest.
I’ve been given my conditional offer tonight, and only did the VARC 10 days ago!
I have accepted the offer and now it says wait for medical dates but I can’t see the Vetting forms anywhere to fill in yet?

Thanks
They will
Send them to you. Takes a couple of days.

Hiya guys, I’ve sent my letter to appeal...

Does anyone know if the status on your login on the Justice changes now to “appeal in process” or something or does it just stay as it is now, saying you’ve been unsuccessful?

Hi Chez, sorry for delay in replying. Status today has changed too -

“ Your application is currently going through pre-employment checks and has been referred for a decision”

So at least their looking at it again I hope.

Not holding much hope though, luckily I’ve got a job anyway but really wanted to get back into it... just have to see.

Hi guys, my appeal went in and status changed back to being “referred for a decision” on 12th April - it’s been 10 days including today and it’s the same.

What’s members experiences been with this appeal process and how long it usually takes to make a final decision?

Thanks

Hi guys
I appreciate there may be other posts on this however I’m new to the forum and trying to reach as many as possible I guess for the different opinions etc.
So I applied earlier this year on a merit campaign and passed everything so far. VARC in December and nothing till last month where I received the conditional offer. Booked the fitness and medical for next week on the 5th May. Recently completed the Optima questionnaire and spoke to a nice lady who needed some clarification on something from 2019 which is no longer an issue. All good. Submitted the vetting pre employment two weeks ago. I found out yesterday that it’d been referred for a decision then today my application has been deemed unsatisfactory which I’m gutted about. Spoke to someone on the SSCL 0345 number and she instructed me to email vetting enhanced and request reason(s) which I duly did straight away. Does anyone know or can anyone point me in the right direction of the next steps and does everyone have the right to appeal or is that it depending on the circumstances.
Many thanks in advance
