Few Questions

I'm due to start my training at Rochester on March 2nd. I am in Stirling house, Suffolk for my POELT. I have a few questions I hoped people could answer:

What sort of hours will I be doing at the training college?

Where exactly is the training centre (a postcode would be good for finding out how to get there)

What should I wear on the first day of my training?

If it is local look at 0800 - 1700 mon to Fri
Don't know where it is, but you will get this info with your joining instructions.
On your first day wear black and whites with clip on tie and black boots/shoes. Oh and wear black socks as well

Cheers. Also, does anyone know if there is a gym at that college? And do the prisons offer gym facilities for when you are employed?

don't know about the college, but was told by the instructors on RAD that most establishments have better than average gyms and that usage is encouraged, so I should imagine you'll be ok.

What is the accommodation like at the training centre? Will it have internet access? Also, will I be able to have my girlfriend stay there with me for one week as she has a week off.

Hi Stirling house does not have a gym, however if you are into running there is a nice run around the outside of HMP Highpoint which is opposite Stirling House.
If you look up HMP Highpoints address on the internet you will find Stirling House as it is right next door.
If your establishment havent given you a uniform wear something smart on the first day.
Your girlfriend will not be permitted to stay over I'm afraid.
Hope this helps.
