Thank you Hhtiek123. I’ve emailed back and asked for my first choice and the prison I applied to first and it’s also the most local to me (about 25mins drive). Now just need to pull my finger out and get myself ready for the fitness test as right now I would defo fail it x

Congrats all for getting allocated! :slcl:

I passed my assessment recently with a score of 62% :slzi: but I’ve mirrored over my results to all establishments that I can travel to. Hoping to hear something soon but feel 62 probably puts me way down the list.

Has anyone had to re-sit after the 12 months? Just wondering how rare/likely it is.

Well done Cakes for passing your VARC. When did you get your results? You can only get offered a place once the closing date for applications is up and everyone that has applied has completed their VARC. It states that this can take up to 8 weeks from the closing date, as it obviously will depend on how many apply and when. So don’t worry if you haven’t heard yet

Thank you. Passed on Monday. Was relatively quick to get the results back as I only sat the assessment on the Friday.

I can cope with the wait… I think :slwh: I’m sure there are plenty of people that are still on a list who did their assessment a while ago so I’ll wait patiently!

That was pretty quick. Just had a phone call today with an offer for an establishment. I was given 2 choices but chose the one closer to home.

Hi, I had my interview then had a conditional offer 2 weeks afterwards so it was super quick. Then I had 14 weeks for vetting so not quite as quick! I guess it all depends on your score and your establishment! X
