Hi all,

Finally got a start date, I reckon I must be one of the longest waiting applicants ever! Lol I applied October 2019, I have a start date of 31 May 2021

So if you're still waiting, be patient!

Anyone else on here training at Bullingdon from 14th June??

Thank you! Yep, Covid put a fair amount on my waiting time, and I think it always takes a little longer down south but got there in the end!

Does anyone that has stayed away for training in a hotel know what the deal is with food, is anything provided or am I going to have to pay out Mon to fri myself?

I have training in a hotel starting in May. I was told on my phone call that food would be provided.

Hi, has anyone received their offer with a different start date?, I agreed on a phone call to start on the 10th May and my email offer says 19th April.
But concerned as that’s a big difference.

Hey Fareham,

I dunno if this helps but my start date is 19/04 too (induction at my home prison) but my POELT start date is 10/05. Maybe this is the same for you?

Yeah I guess so, it’s certainly South for me! Not as far down as London, though.

Seems as though there might be a few new starters for the same prison?! I could have started earlier with my training, but my partner is working abroad until the end of May so I couldnt arrange enough childcare.

Anyone with start dates, have you joined poeltsrus?

I live in Fareham so I'm assuming I might have atleast one newbie at my prison

I was supposed to be at newbold but was told it’s now full and I’ve been moved.
