Are Tattoos A No No?

Post by MuayThaiRy »

Hello!

Really hope someone can let me know how they look up on tattoos now. Obviously times are changing and people are looking for more diverse employees. Reading up I have read there’s a few heavily tattooed Prison Officer and there absolutely quality! I would hate to get rejected because of my tattoos (bare in my I have nothing offensive in the slightest) because I’m the nicest person you’ll ever meet and I have so much to give! My tattoos just give me confidence. Again sorry for another post guys, just excited about this and need to know before I apply and end up getting rejected which will upset me tbf. I have nothing else I want to do and I don’t want to scaffold for much longer haha

Kind regards, Ryan

Tattoos are fine as long as not offensive.

This is the best thing I’ve heard all year! I was so worried about my tattoos putting employers off but of course times are changing now. I definitely have no offensive tattoos, just all meaningful.

At least if I do get a job in one of HMPs I can carry on my full body suit haha. Ps I’m nowhere near that yet unfortunately though

Think they prefer to see a bit of personality to be honest... I have two big blue flashes at the front of my hair and at my arc I had like 3 of the assessors say they loved my hair
