It's was relaxed, they asked things like what have you done to improve someone's life, is it a good idea to stay calm and how do you relax etc but I'm still nervous I won't pass

Nothing crazy asked it's just the wait that's hard. Oh and wear a shirt and tie it's noticed what wear

Many thanks buddy.

Do they ask any other questions like why you want this career. What aspirations you have or background information. Do they put you into any mini scenarios etc

Just anything to get me ready would be great.

Bleep test is a scary word I hate running. But I've got two cones and the app downloaded to start training for it and hopefully the gyms open up soon so I can hit the cardio classes and treadmills. It's only 1.5miles but to me that's about 10 lol

I was the same, I’m not the smallest of bears, running just isn’t my thing, my advice.....

Practice, practice, practice.....the real thing, get your body accustomed to it so it becomes second nature when you hit the real thing. I also used a stepper couple of time’s a week to help get the lungs working, my goodness I did some sweating on that machine !

Out of 7 people, only 2 of us passed the bleep test as the others were not prepared at all, surprisingly.

That's great advice and shocking only 2 past! I will definitely be prepared I'm in pretty good shape none smoker of drinker but shit lungs.

I'm going to put some serious sweat in probably throw up a times but it be worth it.

It isn't even a fast run is it? From looking at the video it's more a jog but none stop for 10min or so.p

Put in the work to prepare for it and you’ll do just fine, it’s more like a fast jog towards the end

Only takes around 3 and a half minutes to complete and it progresses from little more than a brisk walk. I wouldn’t say that I’m unfit but I wouldn’t say I was fit either and I found it straight forward enough. Think only one had to book a resit when I did my arc. You’ll breeze it, nothing to worry about.

3 and a half minutes I should be able to do now without training. I'll still hit the gym I've got a bit of a tyre to loose anyway lol thanks for the confidence boost that's a weight of my mind. I think the training centers open up again in August so plenty of time.
