Re: Virtual interview
Have to go to Belfast. No specifics just says medical.
I do have asthma so they may want to speak with me about that.

Re: Virtual interview
Ahh okay. I Am completely fine with no issues except my left eye just scrapes the borderline pass due to lazy eye from birth. With contact lens it’s 6/12 but my right eye is 110%
I’m 3weeks today submitting my CTC and have constantly checked the nsv site on updates lol.
Good luck with your medical next week. Fingers crossed you get the clear. This has to be your last stage the medical.

Re: Virtual interview
Still in progress!! I can’t think as to why this is taking so long my family all served the armed forces...
I have No debt or ccj etc etc. So I’m lost on why this is taking so long.
If this is because I filled my whole application form in capital letter and didn’t read the pre preparation beforehand saying DO NOT complete the form in capital letters I don’t know what I can do to fix it.

Re: Virtual interview
It can take up to 12 weeks in some cases unfortunately. If you filled it in with caps then it may well take longer, as it did say that on the front. Hope you get it cleared soon though.
Re: Virtual interview
Yes read up on CTC checks today and a lot seem to be around 6wk mark on completion.
I have emailed HRConnect my concerns regarding the capitalisation used on the application form. Will let you know what they come back with.

Re: Virtual interview
I found out I’ve got. Ccj I never knew about but I’m under the impression that it’s only if you’ve been bankrupt it affects you. I agree maybe it’s the Caps thingBelfast86 wrote: ↑Wed Oct 21, 2020 7:37 pm Still in progress!! I can’t think as to why this is taking so long my family all served the armed forces...

@jambogmail1 - it’s grand my CTC coMeted today.
@horseygirl24 - yes roll on start dates. Fingers crossed for you on Wednesday. I wonder if I will have to attend a medical. I think we still need to get BP, BMI, Weight etc etc

Re: Virtual interview
JCOX4 - yes we do unfortunately. We also get an additional risk allowance working in police/prison service in Northern Ireland due to the threat the job brings.
