Whilst I agree that you are not their to hurt each other you will need to fight back (under control) as to let people restrain you is setting them up to fail and is ultimately dangerous to them. Prisoners are not going to comply so you need to simulate the reality of the situation.
It’s too bad that stupidity isn’t painful. Ignorance is one thing, but our society thrives increasingly on stupidity

Start of vetting to the call 17 weeks 2 days.

Don't worry Harty, I'll focus on your legs instead :slbx: :sltgn:
Some people get carried away and apply to much force. Me, I just want to master the technical side of it and only apply force when I have to or some of you piss me off :slRA2: just kidding :slnuts:

Sorry for my delayed response, I have been outside practising my baseball swing! So whose first :slbx: hehe

Yes fully understand we have to put all the effort in whilst acting Prisoner and/or Prison Officer. Should be a good workout for us all! 8)

My face is scarred and I have a chunk of my ear missing and my little dear old grandma never fails to tell me how much of a thug I look so I should play the part well! :slraz:

It's all about the technical side when restraining. The little women on ours, are probably the best as the prisoner has to bend to them. Personal protection is much more physical.
You leave the dojo tired but you should certainly not be leaving injured!
There's a few who really get into the role of the prisoner which is great.

I wish my mom called me thug when I was younger, but instead she used to say I looked homeless when I used to be too lazy to cut my hair or trim my beard :cryX:

Just what the prison service tattoos scars and skinheads :slbx: but all joking aside this in my eyes being pre poelt is the most important part because it’s what will keep ourselves and colleagues safe!

C&R is very physical. Yes it's about technique but everyone normally hurts after. You play the prisoner as well so the locks and pain techniques will be used on you. Best bit of advice is find a good group of four that trust each other and won't be twats.

Another good advice. Thanks.
I suppose when you play the role of prisoner you have to had realism into it, but if someone is causing you pain, then I suppose it's better to stop resisting in order to avoid any injuries.
But of course there is always a twat that goes from 0 force to 100 in 1 second lol
