I have multiple convictions including short custodial sentences. All over 10 years ago. Upstanding member of community ever since. Work as SIA guard, sports coach and committed to helping people whatever their problem may be. You're probably all laughing now, but I know I can make a difference to their lives and would give my all
Fifty one years old/wise... Any chance for me? Doesn't have to be front line, anything that helps. Thanks for reading. Stuart.

Welcome Stuart.

In short there is one answer to this. We don’t know.
Every case is assessed individually and there is one way to find. Ensure you give full disclosure when applying and cross your fingers.

All the best.

I'm not vetting but to have multiple convictions and a custodial sentence I would seriously doubt you would get through vetting. Yes people make mistake/bad choices but the line has to be drawn somewhere.

Hi Stuart, what was the breakdown of your convictions...how many etc?
It would be useful if those that have could comment. This is a question that I have not seen an answer to (with much depth) from anyone with personal experience.

Has anyone passed vetting with a conviction?

Multiple convictions including short custodial sentences... I would say realistically there is more chance of Watford winning the premier league this season than you passing vetting. If not the vetting process is seriously flawed.

Yes there are people with records that have got through Vetting, depends on the crime I suppose. There are a few people that have said this in various other threads.
It’s too bad that stupidity isn’t painful. Ignorance is one thing, but our society thrives increasingly on stupidity

Start of vetting to the call 17 weeks 2 days.
