daft question, but when you are on duty do you bring in lunch/foor for breaks? or is there facilitys? canteen or whatever.

This will depend on the establishment, some have messes, some have vending machines and some have bugger all :)

There should either be a staff mess which will usually cost about £3 for a main course or a shop in a short walking distance and by all means bring food in, all establishments have a toaster, kettle and microwave and fridge in the staff break rooms.

Take some lunch in, the mess is hit and miss some days good :slcup: most days bad :slst: and dont make the same mistake i have where you end up on a A shift and the mess is closed arghhhhhhhhh :slst: vending machines save the day :slcl: but doing a 14hr day pot noddles just dont cut it :slgy:
