POELT course - positive COVID test

Post by Es6fee  »

Hi all!

I'm currently on my third week of my training. However one of the training group have had a positive COVID test. Does anyone know if the rest of the group will have to self-isolate? And if so, do we get paid for it? As obviously not anybody's fault but also not our choice.

Thank you :slbg:

The positive student will isolate and pending a negative flow test the rest can continue training.

I've been told that the group gets their course cancelled and they all get sent back as OSGs, it's happened a few times.

The current guidelines are as I have said. We had the same situation beginning of this week.

Carbon is right, current rules are, even if its someone you live with, you dont need to isolate unless you have symptoms yourself.
