Well done Cakes for passing your VARC. When did you get your results? You can only get offered a place once the closing date for applications is up and everyone that has applied has completed their VARC. It states that this can take up to 8 weeks from the closing date, as it obviously will depend on...

Thank you Virgo. I’m so happy I heard so quickly but it’s also taken me a bit by surprise. I need to proper get on it so will start doing little jogs from tomorrow after work to help get my stamina up. Break up from school on 29th so can then really focus on it x

Any top tips to go from unfit to being able to pass the physical in a very short time? Got email today saying I’m getting a provisional offer so guess my fitness won’t be far off. I’m pretty unfit if I’m honest but have lost weight over the past months so ready for some intense action to get myself ...

Thank you Hhtiek123. I’ve emailed back and asked for my first choice and the prison I applied to first and it’s also the most local to me (about 25mins drive). Now just need to pull my finger out and get myself ready for the fitness test as right now I would defo fail it x

Good luck with it. I’m going to start preparing for mine. I don’t know when it will be as I only passed VARC yesterday, but the fitness is what I’m most worried about so need to get myself fitter
