I never found out either what my score was, would love to try and find out, if anyone knows how to?
I got told I passed the ARC less than 24 hours afterwards and 13 days later got given a offer (in vetting now).
I was originally on the merit list.

Re: So it begins
Just curious guys...
As my vetting has begun, my fitness and medical isn’t due for 4 weeks.
Is it possible to pass vetting (the hardest point you could argue) and just be waiting for the fitness test?

Re: So it begins
Yeah Manchester came up later on today, so booked now and it’s in 4 weeks... gives me chance to lose a few lbs beforehand
I’ve completed all my pre employment questions now so hopefully they will be relatively quick

Re: So it begins
Hiya mate wish I could tell you.
All it says is that based on my performance I’ve been successful, no sign at all on score which is a shame.
Does anyone know how long it takes to book the medical and fitness test?
I’ve gone to do that but it says all slots are taken and to try again later

Re: So it begins
Thanks guys.
With the fitness and medical are they generally a few weeks in advance or quite soon?
I need to get my lard ass in check lol
So would be good to have a rough idea how long I got to shift some weight and get a bit fitter

So it begins
Just had an email with a conditional offer.... apparently they will get in touch now to arrange the medical and health check.
Is it a relatively quick process now guys?
To date:
1. Completed ARC on 9th Feb
2. Passed ARC on 10th Feb
3. Conditional offer today
Thanks in advance

Re: Will it affect my Vetting?
No mate only when in the Prison service, although I had already handed my notice in to leave, they decided to do it then when they realised I wasn’t returning, bit unfair imo but hey ho. Was just wondering if anyone knew whether this would be an automatic refusal and I would have to appeal? Or it mi...

Will it affect my Vetting?
Morning, Does anyone know if I was dismissed for poor attendance in a previous job, whether it will result in my vetting failing? I do have exceptional circumstances (see my initial post on here for more info), but I wanted to reach out to see if others have had this issue? Thanks in advance :slsm:

Re: Advice on application
Did you appeal the dismissal? No mate. I already handed my notice in, so gave 4 weeks notice. From memory a week or so later they had a meeting and dismissed me for poor attendance during my probation. There was no need to appeal as I was leaving anyway due my daughters health and my own mental sta...

ex officer :Advice on application
Morning my friends :slbg: After some advice, I won’t go into too much detail (happy to via inbox if it helps answering my query) but I was an officer 18-20 months ago about 3 months live after training and I had a really bad time with my little girl (illness) so went off myself due to the anxiety, s...
