Wayhay. They do pay mileage but double check with your establishment which rate to claim. It should be 46p a mile but I've heard some prisons are funny and want you to claim public transport rate which is 25p per mile.

As long you declare it, be 100% honest, show vetting its settled or in the process of being settled, with proof you shouldn't have a problem.

I know mate that was for my 1st choice prison, 2nd choice rung me with 3 weeks to go and I couldn't risk saying no.

You will get a email saying if you accept the job yes or no, that is basically you agreeing to the contract. As for a paper contract I dont know my start date was March and still waiting haha

My last day today with a graduation. Everyone waiting for training, enjoy it you will have a right laugh! Going live next week so im nervously excited :slsm:

Best part of training, like many other have said is c&r. This course has flown by.
