Mine weren’t the first time, but I’d been in the same employment for 7 years. They only contact references if they struggle to confirm dates with hmrc

Assessment is in 3 weeks. I should be a pro by now . I’m not bitter about it, it wasn’t meant to be. I’ll just try for another jail then hopefully if I get through again, it’ll be over 3 years since I left therefore they’ll not contact them for a reference

I didn’t actually reapply through that Avenue. I wasn’t eligible as I hadn’t completed probation. I did however, have the go ahead from the number one but there’s been a lack of communication somewhere
